This planter no longer exists on DWR’s website.  See Update:  Modern Pots for Urban Dwellers for an alternative.

Here’s a modern twist to the traditional window box from designer Michael Hilgers. This is a great way to add color and greenery to spaces that, well, have no space. The polyethylene pots are water-resistant and can rest on any railing up to 60mm thick. Read more on Container Garden Design.

I love these pots and really need them .I have a metal railing and the railing pot hangers are all made to screw into wood railings. I have never been able to find ones for the metal railings. Now if only these weren’t $60 a piece I would buy them.

I hear you on the price. I have finally realized that paying more for pots that are functional, stylish and durable is a must. I am never happy with crappy pots that don’t last more than a couple of years. Thanks for the visit Priscilla!

This is really a great design. Flower pots is to beautify the external house. This design has solved the problem of falling pot from the apartment that will injured passers-by. If this accident happen in Spore, the owner of the house will hv to go to jail and the housing board will acquired the apartment. no kidding….
